Our Seed Crops

At Mortimer's, we pride ourselves on both our fortunate geographical location and dedicated seed growers. Situated on the Yorkshire Wolds, producing high quality seed on clean land is our priority for all our customers.

Many of our seed growers have produced seed for Mortimer's for many years - we enjoy working closely with them all and value all of their hard work.

LG Astronomer Winter Wheat - A new Group 3 soft biscuit wheat for next season being grown near Driffield.

KWS Zyatt Winter Wheat - A popular Group 1 milling wheat being grown for us near Sledmere for next season.

Valerie Winter Barley - High yielding 2-row winter barley with excellent grain quality. Our seed crop for next season is being grown near Market Weighton.
